Mark Beymer

Mark Beymer is an experienced author and historian with a varied background that enhances his writing. Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, he holds a B.A. in History from Northwest Nazarene University and advanced degrees in Religion and Urban Studies. Beymer’s wide career comprises military service as a U.S. Marine Corps officer, where he hovered over 200 combat missions through the Vietnam War.
Following his military tenure, he shifted into the corporate world and academics, teaching courses in Organizational Development and Business Administration. His rich tapestry of experiences informs his approach to storytelling, blending historical research with compelling narrative.
Beymer’s debut work of fiction, “Young Jesus,” reflects his passion for history and faith, offering readers a profound exploration of Jesus’s life. He now lives in Salisbury, North Carolina, where he continues to write and get involved with his community.
